OUR AOP CÔTES DU RHÔNE
Our Côtes du Rhône wines come from the southern part of the appellation. Here, the terroir consists of a terrace of rolled pebbles typical of the Rhône Valley, which promotes effective soil drainage. This leads to reds with silky tannins and which are complemented by aromas of ripe red fruit coupled with notes of spice. The whites are fresh and elegant.
Enveloped by the Mistral and the dry, sunny Mediterranean climate, our AOP Côtes du Rhône wines are mellow and elaborate.
Domaine de La Vidalière
Situated in Sernhac on the terroirs of the Côtes du Rhône, not far from the legendary Pont du Gard, Domaine de la Vidalière produces fruity, flavoursome and aromatic wines. The estate takes its name from the Vidal family, a family with generations of winemakers.
Marsanne, a grape variety native to the Rhône Valley, gives this varietal wine freshness and superb aromatics!
The rosé is a blend of Grenache noir and Mourvèdre, producing an aromatic, seductive wine with good structure and length.
Finally, the red, a blend of Grenache noir and Carignan, is a fresh, fruity wine with velvety tannins.
